Sugestions regarding Motorola EX128(KINGFISHER)

my father has this phone and he always saw me installing modded roms on my rokr e8,my Touch Diamond and my Galaxy S....and he is continuously asking me if i can do the same thing for his Kingfisher because it is too simple and has many missing options.I searched on google but i found little to no information regarding modding the phone.
So far i found out:
-that it has this code that lets you see the firmware version
-something about language(possibly firmware too) change through FLEX
-it can be booted in bootloader mode using camera button or camera button with usb cable

BUT i didn't get most of the stuff and i would appreciate some guiding or tutorials or more info on the matter if possible

That's a fairly new model and we don't have much information about it here. Unfortunately, it isn't a model for global markets. Inform us about firmware and software versions along with other version informations.

First thing i'd check if P2KTools VS detects the phone in P2K05 mode and lets you browse the system files.

I've tried this phone with RSDLite 5 and P2kTools VS 3.08 and My computer can't detect it.
Anyways, this is the firmware and flex info.

FW = KINGFISHER_G_07.39.00R_D
FLEX = FLEX_KINGFISHER_AR_28_009_D

Hi [MENTION=6563]fotrino[/MENTION], well i dont know much about this ex128, but maybe this can help(s) u a bit regarding ur and some others question

Type *#8375# this will show u any basic info from ur current firmware.
For tools u need RSD Lite 5.0 or Later and Moto Driver 5.0, the flash file are in .Mzf format or Hs files.

To work with RSD check Config menu, then switch to MTK Download.

Ok,there is two way i know for flash ex128, with .Mzf or .Hs flash file.

Now how to connect ur phone?

.Mzf flash files:
Power off, push volume down, then connect the usb.

.Hs flash files:
Power on, connect usb, then select com mode.

Well that's all i know, maybe some others in M3 can gives u another guide. Hope helps and good luck

hey thanks for the info...problem is that i can not find any firmwares maybe edited ones....well i find it a phone with potential for dual-sim that's why i am so curious
