(V3xx only) Get ATT services without the ATT firmware.
For this how-to, I used a motorola razr v3xx with Vodafone firmware. This will work only on phones with ATT SIM cards and service. This will give you internet and mms, but not MEdia Net. Now, to begin
3. Connect your phone to your computer after you have installed the driver, and then unzip p2k commander.
4. Run p2k commander with your phone connected, and go to p2k:/a
5. Find the file named WebSession, and delete it.
6. disconnect your phone, and go to the browser (In Vodafone's case, it is Vodafone Live!). Find the settings menu, and enter the following information:
Name: Network (or whatever you want)
homepage: http://device.home
Proxy 1: 66.209.11.32
port 1: 80
Domain:
DNS 1: 000.000.000.000
DNS 2: 000.000.000.000
GPRS APN: wap.cingular
Username: wap@cingulargprs.com
Password: cingular1
7. After all of this is saved, create another new profile, and enter the following:
Name: Mms (Or whatever you want, as long as it not a duplicate of whatever you entered earlier)
homepage: http://mmsc.mobile.attwireless.net
Port 1: 8080
Domain 1:
DNS 1: 000.000.000.000
DNS 2: 000.000.000.000
GPRS APN: proxy
Username:
Password:
8. Go to messaging, and get ot the setup menu, by clicking the left soft key. Go to message setup > server info > mms.
You are now done. I will keep this thread open for any questions.
