Guide to remove skin folder from moto rzr v3re

Ok so I was browsing through the forums and saw many questions regarding removing skins from phone though it was removed from skiman and apps like skiman. Here is instruction for removing it from moto rzr v3re ( dont know about other models)

    Programs you will need :-
    a) Flash&backup 3
    b) V3re Flex Editior ( By MotoCat & tkalli )

    Download link for V3re Flex Editor :- http://www.4shared.com /account/file/42547852/e7df56bd/V3re_Flex_Editor_v100.html

    1) Remove the skins you do not like using skiman.

    2) open "flash&backup 3" and under "Read data" select the "CG2(Flex)" and click "Read data" (It will create a back up of your skin files)

    3) Use V3re Flex Editor to open the back up file you made using Flash&back 3 in step 2

    4) After opening the back up file (Flex file) you will see skin names on the table titled as "skin folder" and delete the skins that you already deleted using skiman or other softwares.

    5) After deleting the skin folders save the file. (Note that sometimes saved file cannot be accessed by flash&backup that you will need in step 6 , so i recommend to save it in .SBF format)

    6) Now open "Flash&backup" and under "Write data" tab click on "Select flash file" and navigate to the file you saved in step 5.

    7) Now you are ready to flash your phone. click on "write data" and after its done the skin folders you wanted to delete from your phone is gone.

Hope it helped. Reply me if you are having problem.

All guides are welcome. Nobody can say which one is the best, but all are helpful. Which one, or which compilation of which guide is the one , PF will choose, is up to him. Before MMM, which is a joined venture from Poetic Folly and Cash7c3, became a success, Poetic Folly had his own site, The MotoGuide, its the base of all our guides here, so he knows what he is up to. Cash had his own site too, and both combined was the foundation of what we have now.
So I learned, that there can't be too many guides, or too confusing ones, the more info, the better. But the best is to have only one, clean and simple, well structured and easy to follow guide. Because I can't write those, I don't expect others that they can, but you all are doing great, and the n00bs in the future will be the ones to judge.

Im sorry Dumba I misunderstood. I thought you were looking for new guides(specific to the V3re) that have'nt been posted or stickyd yet. Or guides that produced the same effect as mods on other phones, but needed diff directions to achieve on the V3re. Hats off to Poetic Folly then. A very brave soul. (lol) Whats to stop from recieving 50 diff guides all achieving the same effect/or mod and trying to figure out which ONE is the best, eaisest and yet still informational. Wow then multiply that times how many diff mods are there. A brave soul I tell ya. lol Thanks

One other question do the guides have to typed into a post or can I attach/paperclip the guide (word doc) in the post then link you to the attachment?

As long as I can copy and paste it from Word Doc, it doesn't matter. Have a look at the guide section, best and easiest is to have them as they are there. There is even a tutorial somewhere how to add guides. All we need first. is a section and subsections to add them to. And that is waht is determined now. What subsections, which order, what does exist, what doesn't. Its no need for a section for ELF for example, also there is no real Testpoint guide, and what for. But there are guides for skinning for example, completely different to those in existence for other GSM Moptorola phones.
So I am looking for all new guides, and all old guides, and specific to the v3re. I have no need whatsorever for guides to other phones here.
And our Guide section is a wiki, that means, we all can edit and add stuff there, to make it a good and easy to follow section for all users of the v3re. Once we have that section up and running, and for that I need the already existing guides, and new ones.
