Seem edit enabled new item and dont know which one.
While going through the seem map and testing to see which ones are V3re specific, I enabled a new menu item in the text menu. Under the menu item 'Create New Message' there is now an item that says 'New Letter'. Instead of the 400 or so characters you can type in a 'text' message this new menu item will allow 3000 characters in a message. The problem is that I do not know which seem enables this item. So if anyone can solve this for me that would be great. Or......
Is there a program that will check seems against another set of seems to tell me which seems are different, so I might know where to start to find the one that enables this item?
Does anyone have any ideas or thoughts of how I would go about finding it?
Thanks everyone!RAZR, ROKR, BRAVO & ATRIX 2

So how do they work? The same as texts? Modnmotos tried sending one, but it didn't work. Maybe I'll give it shot to see if it's provider-specific.

I'd assume both parties would need to have it enabled before hand

Clarkey I was thinking that same thought. Some other background information on it: when I send normal text messages I dont have any kind of Icon pop up where the signal strenght indicator is. When I try to send a 'new letter' message there is a specific icon that pops up that I think might be a multimedia message icon, but am not exactly sure. Since I have limited service and am unable to send multimedia messages I can not check this. I get the same 'unable to send message' if I try to send either type of message. So I was thinking its either a multimedia message(which I can not send) or both parties need it enabled....

Well, I tried it to an unmodded RIZR with my carrier and it didn't receive it correctly, but I can try later to a v3re with the same seem edit enabled.

Danation and I found out it does send the 'new letter' messages as multimedia messages, probabaly because of potential size. Using close to 3000 characters in a message is significantly larger than 300-400 in a regular text message. We are going to do more testing so we will report findings.
