You have a V3re. What were you trying to flash to it?

Try something in our MP downloads section.

well now i got it flashed with the att works great but how can i unlock it to work in canada with use of another simcard

i wanted to explain too since my razor wouldnt boot up and was stuck at hello moto the battery died and i could not recharge the phone so i did a little trick with wires on the prongs for where the battery is and hooked it up to another cell phone battery with a little tape an bam it powered on in flash mode so i flashed it and it worked (once i figured out i was using wrong flash was using regular v3) then once done i disconnected the wires on prongs and off the other cell phone battery put the original battery back in and it charged love this forum learning alot thanks everyone

Good trick on the battery I sometimes have to do that, too.

As for unlocking, are you saying that it's locked? That's not good. The V3re can only be unlocked by smart testpoint or subsidy code. Do you know anybody with a smart clip or a rocker box or a mssbox?

It certainly sounds like it, to be honest. Is it just when it's open that it's black or when it's closed, as well? If it's just when it's open:

Find the cl.gif file in /a/mobile/system and replace it with a new one that's exactly the same size.

If that doesn't work, open 0061_0001 in XVI32 and see if the file path for cl.gif has been changed.

But to be honest, it does sound like the outer screen is toast.

    Yeah, RAZRs are awesome.

When you get a new outer LCD, make sure it's specifically for the V3re. I'm pretty sure none of the other V3 models are compatible with it.

yes, please tell us the bootloader info on the screen (s/w version and BL #)
also include what you did to get this error. you may only need to flash the correct MP to the phone
not all RAZR's are created equal
