Hi all, new here, total noob at phones, but not stupid either. Have a RAZR V3re, but I can't seem to connect to it well. Have been toying with this thing for nearly a year on and off, and am about to give to a friend who golfs, and let him tee up this POS!
Does anyone have a setup that actually works? I have tried so many programs that I have lost track of what I have tried. I wish I could remember all I have tried, and all the forum posts I have read on many, many modder sites on the 'net.
All I want to do is increase the volume levels, change the outer picture when open, and maybe free up memory by deleting some of the stock sound, pic, and video files that you can't delete. Some programs connect, but I can't upload gain tables (p2ktools) although it will do some things (upload seems) others won't connect at all. I wish I could supply more info, but my brain has fried over this. Can anyone provide a step by step tutorial with needed software listed. I am ready to get a new phone, because a Bluetooth you can't hear in a moving vehicle is useless! Anybody wanna buy this thing cheep?
Just wanna say backup backup and backup are essential with the V3re...got myself one here that I've been step-by-stepping reading over and over the info stockpiled here and tweak/modding to a pleasurable status. I also find the volume on my Bluetooth is weak and this will be my next issue to tackle. BTW with the right basic drivers installed most of all the progs out there will connect and I found that some are better for certain tasks. As you can tell these are bookmarked and are my Holy Grail of info to get results. Knowing your OS and s/w is important when choosing witch version of a prog you'll need.
Zedbra I'll be looking at your answer to Grrr since it seems we gotta learn how to do some seem editing to pump up the volume on our Bluetooths.
So not to jump this thread I'll post another with the subject line about no volume on ringer when charging.
