V3re Bootloader

Does anyone have a boot loader that's compatible with my phone? I've tried three and so far none of them have worked, but I realized that's because they are boot loaders for older versions of the RAZR. The phone specs as of now appear onscreen as:

there are bootloaders in the downloads section for the v3re. only two for this model: 0C.C1 and 0C.F4.
unfortunately you need Smartclip or Ultimate Box to change the bootloader on this phone

Do they cost money to use? And you should probably post a link, as I am new to this site and probably couldn't find it on my own.

You will not need the bootloader. You need the Monsterpack, or short the MP for the phone. There is an unbranded unlocked MP in the download section under V3re.
To install that you will need RSD Lite, you must google that, or FB3.09.
Those are the most used programs to flash new software to the phone with.

I downloaded the MP, which is an FB3 file. I opened RSD Lite, but when I select "..." to find the file, I can't open it. It only opens SHX, SBF, and HS files.

give a link to the file you downloaded. RSDlite can flash F&B files too. they are typically shx, sbf formats anyway.

did you un-RAR the download?? you need WinRAR or 7-Zip to extract the shx file

yah, i wouldnt trust one from Rapidshare unless it was uploaded by one of ouf members

safer to choose an MP from our Downloads Section. be aware tho, most(if not all) flashes for v3re are still locked. flashing a locked MP with lock the phone to your SP, such as ATT or T-Mo, etc

Just want to confirm. Ok, if you flash unlocked t-mob or att mp, is it gonna lock the phone again to the carrier? I have unlocked and flash these 2 carriers but it does not relock. Mp's I have were backups from previous phones (master reset/cleared).

no M8, only locked MP's will lock the phone. unlocked MP's will not
im just pointing out that many MP's for v3re are still locked because most uploads are from locked phones. some are unlocked, but even if the description says "unlocked" i still wouldnt chance it unless i had the subsidy code for my phone

Well, Danation was unable to relock his Phone with any locked MP once he had it unlocked via Code, as far as I know.

me too, i was able to locked one v3re and able to unlocked by breaking my the bathroom door and now my bathroom door is broken.
