    you can use Alltel V3c, but its gonna lose card functions. A lot of people have done it, I guess that VZW's interface is horrible to do that...

    What card functions would I lose. I have one that I need to convert to generic as well and would like to keep the ability to use WAP, MMS and BREW. Also, to flash the Altel SW into this unit, what PST do I use?

    mine keeps having errors such as error flashing subscriber unit I think it may be briked now because I have tryed at least 10 differant monster files and they all come up with errors and my phone is now stuck in boot mode
