Change Clock

Greetings!-
This is my first post, so forgive me if this is in the wrong place. I have a Razr v3m CDMA (USCC) and i hate the fact that you can't view the clock when you are on a call! If anyone has a suggestion about a simple way to either show the clock on the outside display when the phone is open (like it does when shut) or how to physically move the clock location on the inside display, i would greatly appreciate it! I have no clue about "modding" or "seem edits" so the more instructions the merrier. Thanks in advance!
