I am trying to install a BT USB adapter, I have successfully installed a headset previously. My phone and PC are syncing and everything is fine(phone is recognizing computer name) until phone says to enter pin #, my Motomanual says its 0000 (the one I used when installing headset) I want to use this for dial-up (I already use my phone for a modem tethered but would really prefer BT). This is my very 1st. post to a forum!!!!! (I'm shy) any and all help will be greatly appreciated.

so you just need the bluetooth pin number? it's almost always four zeros but try some other common combination. this is interesting but not what we usually deal with, post back if any news.

for my bluetooth adapter for my computer all i had to do was make sure the PIN was the same on both the phone and computer, as far as I know as long as you type the same thing in both, you can use any PIN you like.

so... what is the problem? they won't bond? this is new stuff to me.
