Disable usb charging

I have a moto ve465 and was wondering if there was anyway to disable the charging function when I plug my phone into the computer. I feel that as i continually plug it in and unplug it and it starts and stops charging so quickly that it might start to have an effect on my battery life span. Idk know if there is a seem or anything that will do this but any input would help.

umm not unless you uninstall the drivers but then you won't be able to mod your phone so other than that i don't think there is a way

but i could be wrong wait and see if whoistherabbit or mark post
