Question :: How to install Java games into a V3a phone

Hello again everybody? I finally got my phone to work with MPT and I wander now: How can I install Java games in this phone?

If anybody knows how, please post it here... Seems like the V3a owners list is growing, so a few (including me) would be grateful!

    Best regards!

Anybody knows what's the extension for Brew files? What would be the format of games and programs? I only found in Wikipedia that Brew is like a continuation of Java for mobile devices.

    Thanks again!

Brew is not Java at all....Java dont have no security so people can easily get free games/apps from anywhere for FREE for java enabled phones and install them with no problems, Brew is the answer to that and soon all phones companies will be using brew's software so they will have no choice but to "Buy" games and other apps, unless they can find a way tp upgrade java to not allow apps to be installed unless it form the company itself i believe only one of the companies have Brew and that Verizon the others will surly follow..GSM phones allow too much and the cellphone companies be losing that extra money they make with ringtones, games, and wallpapers, and other apps lol SUCKERS

Alltel has been a CDMA carrier since CDMA was introduced to the market.

    Not as of yet.

There is still noway of adding BREW applications to the BREW software yet. So for games you will need to get them through your carrier.

BREW software is propitiatory, Licensed through Qualcomm. In order to add a BREW game, you would need to apply through Qualcomm to get permission to develop for BREW.
