ok, i've tried the search function already, and can't seem to figure out a definitive answer.
Here's the scoop:
I've just got a new Razr V3c phone on telus (if it makes a difference). i've already managed, through some turmoil, to get the phone to communicate with my motorola phone tools program (v 4.3 i believe), basically i had to set the phone up as a modem communicating on COM1 (seemed weird but it worked). I've got all the drivers for the phone installed so that my computer immediately recognizes it as well. this is all fine.
where i'm having problems is using the PST program and writing a Kjava file (the program communicates fine with my phone btw). it won't let me write a Kjava file, but it will allow me to enable uploading of games and apps. Now on my V300 (Rogers) this function created a new menu under java that said upload java apps or something to that effect, but on my new phone it doesn't have that menu at all. i even tried to use midway 2.6 (which communicates fine with my phone as well). so i get the .jad file loaded and ready to transfer the .jar, but it won't recognize the phone and time's out once i try to send it. WTF? now with the v300 i just had to unplug the phone cable, go to the java menu and select download Java Apps (which i don't seem to have on the Razr). the program would do the rest once the cable was reinserted, and voila i'd have a game on the phone.
i know this is a long post but im frustrated with it and have seemed to exhaust my knowledge of this stuff. any insight guys on how i can get these games on my phone? I don't understand the P2K stuff at all either.
