No Multimedia choice in latest MPT 4.36

    Hi people!

Just did the seem edits for my RAZR V3m and it was great and very easy! The only problem is that my MPT has upgraded all the way up to version 4,36 and there is no MMedia choice when it is set up as a RAZR V3m. Suggestions? Also, Windows Media Player does not detect it. Did I forget to turn something on in the phone. Syncing does not help.

Multimedia on Mobile Phone Tools was what you used for ringtones, pics, videos...etc? You can put all that stuff on with P2K Man,

E is for Ezra and C is for Charley

Is your carrier Verizon? If so, you have to do some seem edits to get the V3m recognized
do the seem edits I mention on this page for getting it to work and see what happens:

    V3m results!!!

After many hours Sunday, I FINALLY have full control of my RAZR V3m. I did all of the modding (Driver Tools, MSU and P2K) and the changes went in fine. BUT, I still had MPT 4.36 to contend with! After much reading and experimenting, I decided to downgrade to
".02" AND install MPT to 3.25b. I also set MPT 3.25b to see my V3m as an E815m, as suggested in one of the posts. This combo proved to give me Multimedia control that I was looking for. I even put my first full-length MP3 on it!!! Now, I'm just waiting for my Micro-SD to arrive and I'll fill it and use it. Sound is'nt too bad on the music either. I stick my tongue out and thumb my nose at Verizon!!! Thanks to everyone for their related posts on this matter. Good research tools!!!

    Just to update....
a while back I updated the phone to " .09", MPT to 4.36 and MANUALLY selected "V3mm" (2 m's!) and the MM choice is now available and useable in MPT 4.36! Thanks everyone! Only problem now is: Got my 1 Gb microSD installed. Formatted it using the V3m. Made sure the transferred songs were WMA format and dragged a bunch to the correct folder (the song titles were made small enough with no foreign chars and WMA at the end). They appear on the phone in the My Music list BUT I cannot play them when I highlight them and hit OK. Suggestions??? Thanks!

I have been told that you can only play the WMAs in the music player app, and only play MP3's from the My Sounds list

I concur with that, Nevar, but my music player app doesn't play.
