Please help, i have a V3m and dropped it in a glass of coke, wont power up.

Can i take the board out of it and put it in another phone and recover my phone book list? It was working after i got it out but it quit because i tried drying it with a hair dryer...didnt get it to hot though because i was holding it in my hand.

Is there a place online i can find a company to send it to for them to recover my data?

Some years ago this happened to one of my phones. After 3 or 4 days it began to work perfectly again (probably just had to dry out).
