How to get videos on your Z6M

If you have a Sasktel or similar CDMA Z6m and want videos on your phone that you have made or downloaded, they need to be in a specail format called 3ggp2.

If you aren't sure if you need 3ggp2 video format just take a short video on your phone, then plug it into your computer and look at the video's name. (motorola/shared/video)

Simply convert the files using Freez 3GP Video Converter (just google it and get a download)

Straightforward conversion tool, then copy your files onto your memory card and enjoy! You will need to set the desired size and quality when you do the conversion. (320x240 screen size, and "stretch" seems to get the best size for the little screen....or use the "letterbox" or "pan/scan" if you want to have a more original aspect ratio)

If you want Youtube videos, use this: http://xviservicethief.sourceforge.net/

You can save them with that tool then convert them.

This has worked well for me so far.... if anyone else had different experiences please share!
