Okay I just bought a phone from a cell phone company im with called pocket here in texas. Very similar to criket. Ive noticed we have a selection of threads for cricket but none for pocket, so that leads me to my first quesiton.
I imagine crickets flat rate service works much the same way as pocket so with that being said could i apply the things yall say for cricket to my pocket phone?
My other question is im a little confused with the model numbers, my only model number specification under the battery is v3m. Where as the v3 looks exactly the same? Any clarification here? Can I use the same MP's and skins for the v3 as the v3m?
Also im concerned about flashing a MP to my phone because there is none here which mention anything for pocket. Ive never flashed a phone or anything to that nature but I dont feel like im completely unsavvy to the idea. I do read alot of the guides here and what not but yall have to understand im just worried about the models and service. So far I have replaced the phone with some skins and some of them which dont "fit" correctly so do I just delete the skin folders from my phone with p2k and they go away? Thank you all for taking the time to read all of this, I do hope to become more knowledgeable on all of the interesting things you can do to phones here and one day contribute more than I ask.
"EDIT" - One more question, in p2k I cant get it to read the files from my micro sd card, the phone itself has no problem saving and viewing files on it, but I would rather be putting large mp3s on the card instead of taking up my phones puny internal memory. Any ideas?
Well I guess no one knows about this or cant or doesnt want to help...not sure. Thanks anyway tho guys.

Reason: Automerged Doublepost
-the V3 and V3m are extremely different in software terms and how they run so no you can't use V3 MP on your V3m
-for flashing if you like the features your carrier has then keep it cause you won't be able to get it back
-latly for skin yes you can delete with p2k but some people have had better results deleting with bitpim, bitpim will also allow you to add song to your SD card
