Hello, i recently got a v9m and im wondering how do you know if its unlocked or not. In the phone info it says "Operator = Generic" so does that mean its unlocked? It's on telus and i want to use on bell.
No, To tell if you phone is unlocked or not you need to put another sim card from another carrier into the phone & if it says enter subsidy code that means the phone is Locked to that current provider & therefore in order to use the phone on another carrier you will need to ring up your provider & pay for the Unlock code.
