Hi everyone.

For the record, Yep, I have a Canadian "Telus" Razor V3c. It is a CDMA and the S/W on it is GATW_06.08.00R.

Sooo...I'm hoping that I can be pointed in the right direction and not turn my phone into a pretty, oblong, Frisbee.

First things first, I have P2KTools on my comp and the necessary drivers are all loaded up. (I think so anyhow, because it's not asking me for any more hardware setups. Also, it recognises my phone and charges it.)

I visited Archer's thread Here, and DL'd the pack. I also DL'd Apristal's links Here and followed said instructions until no more prompts were popping up.

Annnnd....now I'm looking for a direction, because I don't want to flash my Razr with the wrong soft.

I'm good with computers....but I'm a noob with this particular form of modding.

i have a cricket l7c and i was goofing around and flashed it with a cricket monster pack and it reset my phone didn't read everything before i started *doh* i was curious with this alltell mp flash would it still work with cricket and unlock the phone ? like if i were to flash it with alltell mp then use mpt to put my setting back into the phone

Will changing the firmware or software on my L7c change the network the phone registers to? I bought the phone on eBay as 'unlocked' and was able to get it activated by verizon, but it keeps registering it to a different carrier's network number... If its not in the software/firmware is there a way to fix it?

I have this k1m phone i found and it was connected to a Metro PCS carrier. I flashed the phone with the "sprint monster pack" dl from links on this website. i followed every step and even got a complete status when doing it. My problem is that after it completed it restarted the phone and it says verizon wireless at the startup screen.......??? thats not only it...it doesnt do anything else it just stays there no matter what you press you cant even turn it off unless you remove the battery. Am tired of looking around and reading for solutions. If anyone can assist me in what possibilities can i try. thank you in advance...

Well after hours of playing around i fixed my own issue....first the for some odd reason the reflash file i found in this website was for verizon not sprint which it claims it is. After flashing it succesfully it would start up but freeze in the verizon splash screen. My pc would detect it but wouldnt install the drivers because it says it was not available or something like that. I uninstalled everything dl the driver installer from motorola website which you can google and thankfully my phone is not trashed my pc was able to recognize the phone even though it was frozen. i just flashed it with the alltel MP and thats it hopefully if someone encounters this prob this can help ....

Have you flashed your V3c? I have a Bell Mobility and would like to change it to Telus. Any tips would be appreciated.

My son was transferring a file from computer to phone and now the phone will no longer boot and stops at the Verizon splash screen.
Is there a Reflash or MP that will help get it back alive or is it just a brick now?

Took the phone back to the Verizon store (it was about 2 weeks old) and they just replaced it without even looking at it or asking much about what happened. The new phone, same as the old one, just works -- and my son's file transfer worked successfully, so we don't know what went wrong on the first one. Nothing we tried would get working again (the reflashes all failed), and none of the reflash files appear to have worked. So, now I wonder if any of the backup tools are worth the time exploring? Comments?

Flashing a Sprint phone with anything other than a Sprint firmware is a really bad idea. You'll lose more functionality than you'll gain.

Why is it a bad idea, and WHAT specifically would I be loosing? I have a Sprint K1m that has been unlocked and I just activated on Cricket. Sure the phone still has ALL the Sprint crap on it (VISON, etc...) but all those 'features' are worthless since they don't work on Sprint.

So again, WHY would flashing this fully to Cricket be bad? I would like internet, Cricket Clicks, etc... that actually work instead of Sprint Vision and games like MR/MRS Pacman that I can't use.

Because sprint puts java on their phones. You can get a java version of mrs. or mr. pacman if you know where to look. If you get cricket, you'll be stuck with brew only which means you'll have to pay for all your games. With java on your sprint phone, you can use all kinds of free apps and games

yeah, unless you relly know what you're doing, you shouldn't mess with it, because there's no MetroPCS MP for the L7c
