please help. cant connect my phone to my computer via USB
hi! first of all, im new here.
i used to have a razr v3 and i used it for internet for my computer. i recently got a new MOTOZ9 and i've tried to connect it to my computer and i cant. i have motorola phone tools installed, and still it wont work, when i hit "add a new phone" it asks me to connect the phone, it doesnt detect it. ive tried unstalling it and reinstalling it at least twice. all i get when i connect the phone is the "found new hardware" window, and it asks me for a driver. ive also installed Motorola EU Driver Installation v2.6.2. As you can see, ive tried many things and none work.

Did you run the MPT live update addon?

yes i have and also everytime i open motorola phone tools a message saying "unknown error" appears

try re-installing the app.
