Recently added firmwares have a star prepended before their name.
The files are sorted on Rapidshare by date by default. Right above the right corner of the first link, change sorting to name to find your firmware easier.


How to remove a subsidy lock from the firmware flashfile:
1) Download SBF RECALC from HERE.
2) Create a folder and put your locked flashfile into it.
3) Open SBF RECALC.
4) Click on "Open Flash-file" and select the one you want to unlock.
5) Click on "Split Flash-file".
6) Click on Open CG-Folder and select the folder that contains the splitted firmware (it is the same one).
7) In "Advanced" tab, make sure that "Remove Ask for Lock" is checked
8) Click on "Recalc Checksum". When it finishes there will be a message like: "n Sim- or Netlock found and removed".
9) Click on "Create SBF-File". Now the unlocked firmware is in "SBF-FlashFile" subfolder. Flash it.
NOTE: Should SBF Recalc say when clicking on "Recalc Checksum": "n Sim- or Netlock, already unlocked", then the firmware is already unlocked.


How to request for a firmware:

WAY ONE:
1) See the before you mod guide and take a backup of your Z9 or Z9n. Fur future need save it as SMG files.
2) See THIS GUIDE made by kent. Post the result. Also say the firmware branding (operator you bought the phone from + country)

WAY TWO:
1) Download P2K Commander 5 from the download section. Google RSD lite and download it. See the before you mod guide about setting up P2K commander.
2) Go to the phone status menu and select other information. From there write down on FLEX version, SOFTWARE version, language pack list. (You may need to do following SEEM edit to enable Other Information in your menu: Seem 0032_0001, offset 00. bit 6,7 ON). Connect your phone to PC and open RSD Lite. Write down your DRM VERSION. Then using P2K Commander go to /a/mobile/vst and download all *.ver files (like 0007.ver etc) to PC. Then go to /a/mobile/kjava/ and download the file J2MEPCK to PC. Pack them and upload somewhere (RapidShare.com etc.). Post all the info you wrote down and link to the file you uploaded. Also say the firmware branding (operator you bought the phone from + country)


NOTE: I only MIGHT find that firmware or newer version of it.

I dunno the features of the new fws R263312_U_9E.01.17R and R2633121_U_9E.03.3AR. I guess more stable.

good one I have another question , I have this bootloader 05.f3 sw version r263312_u_9e.0 2.0fr one of these is compatible with mine, otherwise I live in venezuela I will not have problems with that?


another question that is not well andalusia topic but since I am asking If you know how to activate funlight and is not able to activate, thank you very much hope your answer..

The R263312 ones are compatible with your phone. However they are all AT&T branded.

You may set up a request for your firmware in case something goes wrong with it (Bead the before you mod guide, then either upload your full backup anywhere like rapidshare.com whatever and PM me the link) or see the bottom of the first post.

I never played with funlights, so I don't know.

Thanks cjrg17 for giving me necessary information about the MP. The Movistar firmware is sticky but if you need to unlock the phone and the phone freezes before seeing the 'Enter subsidy code' screen, flashing this firmware will resolve the issue.

I already have unlocked z9, so better I flash a firmware above without CG2 inside, isn't it? But I figure out there is CG10 inside the firmware R263312_U_9E.01.17R_LP1163_USCORSICAATTAGPSUSR2633 12001: LOCKED; AT&T US; Language Pack 1163
I dont find any CG10 in my phone.... What is this then?should I use it or not ?

CG10 is e partition (pictures, java games etc. on the phone ).

Hi! I got firmware R263312_U_9E.01.16R... it is possible for me to downgrade it? Because in another topic, says I can only upload skins, nothing ealse, and I hadn't bought this phone just to use it =) (I got a v8 modded).

And another Question: Can I flash another DRM with this firm? Thanks!

Yes you can flash another drm for sure. Find a compatible drm flash with your firmware or create one of your own by following this universal guide. If you can't find any, ask for any 240x320 drm that you like to be ported to your phone. Start a new thread in drm section including your firmware details. I will be willing to port some drm to Z9 area. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask.
