Moto Z9 cant charge battery with usb

Hello, i have a little problem, when i connect my motorola z9 the battery dont charge with the usb cable. I have win xp, motorola phone tools 5.0.5.1 and motorola driver tools 4.0. thats problem when i use the internet connection because the battery running low of energy so fast

By default that feature is turned off on the Z9. To turn the feature on, you have to edit SEEM 004A (or 004B) Offset 207. 1 is on; 0 is off.

Hmmmm. I've never made a SEEM edit to my Z9 and have been able to charge it via USB ever since MPT started supporting it. I run XP on my laptop, and Vista on my desktop, and both charge the phone just fine.

I also have the latest Motorola drivers installed, and each time I plug in the phone, a little MotoConnect bubble pops up from the system tray.

Does anything happen when your phone is first plugged in via USB? Any sounds, or notices? If the connection is successful, the phone itself should react along with the PC. Try plugging your phone in without MPT running and see if the PC recognizes the phone. If not, then something is wrong with your drivers and I recommend running the Moto Driver Installer's "Clean and reinstall" option.
