My z9

I just got a z9 and I like it a lot. Here are some questions I have about it..

1.I do not have a usb cable, or bluetooth. The only connection I have is the memory card. I have a converter to put it into my laptop. How can I mod the phone that way? Is it possible?

2. Sometimes mp3s will not play on the phone. It says "file not supported" or something and asks me to delete it. Sometimes it works, it just depends I guess. Why is it doing this?

3. How do I change slide tones?

4. How do I add new themes?

Hello,

1- You need a usb cable to be able to mod the phone.
2- Z9 only supports mp3's up to 256kpbs bitrate. Anything higher will occur that error.
3- Not sure if it's possible but check the sticky threads of z9 section. There might be some information.
4- Check the stickies again.

2. Sometimes mp3s will not play on the phone. It says "file not supported" or something and asks me to delete it. Sometimes it works, it just depends I guess. Why is it doing this? This can happen due to KBPS rate or even a sound issue. You can use many programs found only to drop the KBPS rate without losing any noticeable quality. I generally keep mine between 64 to 128. This can also happen, though, if you use an inadequate program to create the modified MP3, or if too much additional information is attached to it making it an ID3 file (sound file plus information/graphics).

3. How do I change slide tones? In you a\mobile\system folder, change the tones with the labels open and close to whatever you want the new slider tones to be.

4. How do I add new themes? Easiest way would be to just change skins.
