Required :

1. Dual Boot v3.2

2. Profile and Loader for Flash&Backup to allow the creation of PDS backup

Flashing and Accessing the Dual Bootloader :

1. Extract the Dual Boot archive to get the .shx file

2. Flash the .shx file with RSD Lite just like you flash any other MP or DRM.

3. To access the dual bootloader (which allows you to read your PDS), do this:

Switch off your phone, press and hold * and # and red power key (just like accessing normal bootloader).

It would basically read something like "Dual boot for motorola v3i by gandjafuzz and vilko" with a green background

To access S Blank Mode, press * and red power key while in the dual boot mode (explained above).U will need to open rsdlite here because the screen will be blank once u are in Blank flash mode

Making a PDS Backup :

1. Extract the LTE2_READ.rar archive.

2. Open My Computer and go in the directory where you have installed Flash&Backup (normally its installed in Program Files/Motorola Tools/Flash&Backup/). Inside the F&B folder, you will see two folders: Loaders and Profiles.

You must copy 08A0_RFDI.ldr from the archive into the Loaders folder

You must copy LTE2_READ.prof from the archive into the Profiles folder

3. Run Flash&Backup. Select LTE2_READ as the active phone profile instead of V3i

4. Put your phone in Dual Boot Mode (as explained above) and connect your phone to your computer

5. Click on Read Data tab. Then set Backup format as SMG. Click on Read Data button

6. Also make a full backup later (check all items in the grid) for further security.

PDS backup is possible both in flash blank mode and the special BL made by gandjfuzz and vilko

Warning:Your phone must be rsa patched and should not be 0A.52 BL Flashing a non RSA Patched mp on this dual BL mp will give you a code corrupt error so flash a rsa patched mp first and den jump to non rsa patched mp
