This is a patch for Adlxmod 2.1.5-5 that brings FlashLite browser plugin & OpenGL1.1 amongst other things:

- Doesn't include any kernel (I prefer you choose the one you want) from my kernels (check the OP of main adlxmod thread, link below)
- Won't chnage your notification bar color. The same: you pick the one you like, this patch won't overwrite it.

I have a question.....if i have the last version of the rom (w/ kernel included) and i install this update, do i have to re-install the kernel?

I've got the previous version of this rom with the last kernel patch installed and the dark notification bar. I've just flashed with my recovery without wipe and I had no problems with this new patch. Good luck


Edit: My report at this moment is:

- Flashing and First Boot: no problem at all
- Battery was full at 8 a.m.: after flash the patch it drained until 55%
- Charging through usb connected to pc: led didn't blink, but it's not the first time that after flash a new rom/patch the x first times it didn't blink and, without a reason, it began to work ok again. At last, when charged at 90%, the led switched on.
- Angry Birds 1.5.1 (the Spica's mod) worked a lot better, faster.
- Apparently, my battery life keeps in good health, it's draining 2%/hour at stand-by mode and an average of 4-5%/hour as before flashed the new patch.

Hello, the patch is working in my phone and it runs a little faster than before (menus, transitions, etc.) with ADW Launcher.

Blur Home Launcher still works too much jerky.

GoogleMaps is still working in 2D mode. Anyone know how to make it works in 3D mode?.

Is this patch opens web pages with flash contents?

The patch won't overwrite the kernel you have. There is no kernel in the patch.

The patch shouldn't affect the led & battery charging.

It's not Flash as in full-flash. It's Flash "Lite". Actually I don't really know what web sites supports Flash Lite. It was included in the CliqXT's stock roms, and I wonder why it was never included in the Cliq's stock roms... (that is not the only thing, at least I know of the FM Radio, and the Event Reminder that weren't either included ever in the Cliq's stock roms).

Cool!! That Flash plugin was really intended to be installed to android tablets. I have been informed that the version of the plugin is flashlite 2.5. I know for a fact that FlashLite 4.0 is being installed on the latest flash enable tablets and phones. The funny thing is that these devices with FL 4 are being marketed as Flash full 10.1.

If you or one the members could get ahold of a recent tablet or phone,the FL 4 may be extracted. Another way to get FL4 binaries is dl a patch that installs to Adob AIR and Adobe Flash development.

A question. How did you managed to perm cook the apk's inside your Rom to /data/apps without problems like hanging during boot? I was thinking that it wasnt fitting in ROM.

It was really neat looking into his patcg never knew that it was possible to do that.
And there's this plug in on the android kitchen that fixes issues with most apps that are fc or whatever in /data/app

I seem to be having trouble with it. I installed it and worked great, but suddenly i lost acces to the SD. Tried varius options and after a complete reinstall and wipe access was restored. Enable APP2SD and lost it. It seems that when i initially installed the update i already had enabled app2sd but when i installed something else i lost acces to sd.

Yeah that is rather cool actually, because it will "susvive" a "wipe data" done by a user! Plus that way it still let the user uninstall the apps, which is interesting in the case of LP or TB, bc some users prefer to remove them or replace them with the payed version (and not all of them know adb commands to do it).

The drawback is that it eats space on ur /system partition, which is quite small on the Cliq :/ (even more in a Motoblur rom like Adlxmod).

I applied the patch to Adlxmod 2.1.5-2 and Flash lite worked great! Everything was great but transproxy stopped working…
I could enable it but I couldn’t use Internet at work, all the apps couldn’t reach the Web.
I wipe everything and the ROM entered in bootloop. I’m downloading 2.1.5-5

I will have to rewrite some webs to use ActionScript 2 instead of ActionScript 3 to use them in my Dext.

Flashed Adlxmod 2.1.5 v5.1 and worked great for a couple of days, rotate in gallery seemed to corrupt the screen but went back to normal upon rotating again (don't know if relevant) some apps randomly reported not having access to sd (audiobook, music) but fixed upon reboot. Installed a some app from market (don't remember which) and lost access to sd from all apps.

Complete wipe and Flashed adlxmod-2.1.5-5 with cliq215-kb3 and adlxmod-2.1.5-5-DarkBarBattMod and then Adlxmod 2.1.5 v5.1. On bootup access to sd was ok, then enabled app2sd via gscript and on bootup lost access to sd. then disabled app2sd and access returned.

Currenlty wipe all and flashed everything back in (except for the 5.1) And working without a hitch (suspected my sd, but so far no problem) Will report if anything changes ;-)

So far everything is working great, but when i try to connect to a wifi network it tries to get th IP but ends in Error, i have the wifi soft activated but still no luck.
