Quick Fix for adlxmod 2.1.5-2

This is an incremental patch to be flashed over adlxmod 2.1.5-2 without wipe.

What's new:

- Fix missing fix_permissions
- Fix logwrapper (will now correctly log to logcat)
- Fix Wifi issue in 2.1.5-2
- Added ext3 support
- Battery % mod (most credit goes to Fightspit@XDA)
- Update: Titanium Backup 3.6.2
- Removed: Multitouch support (confirmed by Motorola the MT can be harmful, and also by kb7sqi)

If u have app2sd, the QF1 patch will fail to update Titanium (Line 9). Don't worry, the rest should be patched correctly.

Adlxmod 2.1.5-2 - Full Rom (not patch) - WIPE

This is not a patch, it is a full build. I advise to wipe before flashing.

- Custom kernel: adds swap, tun, netfilter, Chinese multitouch patch
- Wifi & Bluetooth in-kernel tethering

Prerequisites to install adlxmod 2.x:

- You need a rooted phone. Use the RageAgainstTheCage rooting method, which is valid for any flavour of the Cliq/Dext, without tampering the radio. See: http://modmymobile.com/forums/399-mo...-3g-bands.html

Wiping or not wiping?:

1) If you have weird issues (boot loops, FCs, unable to enter PIN, unable to use whatever should work), YOU HAVE TO WIPE (data, cache and SD Ext partition if you have one already). Read (2)
2) REMEMBER: You have to wipe BEFORE installing the rom and the patches! That mean that if you ever wipe, you better have to REFLASH the rom and the patches after wiping!
3) Hint: If you come from 1.5 you HAVE TO wipe!
4) If you come from another Android 2.1 rom you can try without wiping, but read (1)
5) You can use Titanium, to backup and restore apps between wiping/reflash. Be careful, you probably better don't backup/restore system configurations, especially if upgrading from 1.5 to 2.1. (restores DBs and the DB schema expected by the new rom may have changed).

Recommendations:

- BlurHome app drawer is a bit laggy (not really my build issue), I recomend using Launcher Pro from the market (free) --> Really FAST!
- 100% CPU? - The system loads a ton of apps upon startup, I recommend using a task cleaner to kill them. In my case my phone runs really smooth!
- After flashing and restoring your conf, check the ringtones and notifications tones. Sometimes it is messed up.
- Unable to connect to 3g? if you have issues to connect to data (2g/3g), double check your APN!
- Wifi conexion issues? if and only if you are having issues with wifi / data connection, try to install the Tonymy01's DNS patch.


Q&A (Will grow later)

Q: How do I enable A2SD?
A: Partition SD from Recovery (will format the whole SD!), then in Adlxmod, open the gScript app and run "Enable a2sd".

Q: Can I use JIT?
A: JIT is already enabled by default in adlxmod 2.1.5. (In adlxmod 2.1 you can enable JIT the same way as a2sd, but remember JIT isn't stable. It may run fine for you though.)

Q: I have issue connecting with the browser. Everyth else is working fine
A: Check that there is no "null" values set in you APN. If there is, correct the APN. I recommend using "APN Backup & Restore", free from Market.

Q: My keyboard is messed up, when I type "a" I get "q"...
A: You may have flashed the azerty keyboard patch while having a "qwerty" kbd. Reflash the rom, but not the azerty patch ;-). Only flash the azerty kbd patch if your kbd reads A-Z-E-R-T-Y...

Im running on Motorblur 200 orange, if I wipe my phone(still using a 1.5 firmware version) & still using moto blur 200 orange,will this work for me?

Yeah you are confused with my other build for XT. This Cliq/Dext build doesnt have speaker issue :-)

HI, i did try the app2sd, but it is failling i did following
- repartition SD,
- wipe dalvic, sd and restore settings
- flash
- run gmod (here it fails)
it ask for root permitions, okay...
it begins to symlinks, but it fails on symlining private apps, the phone reboots it self

Hi,I had flash this 2.1 rom from 1.5 stock rom,everything from rooting,reflash j_rodd recovery,flash zip from sdcard,all went smoothly till complated copying file,then I reboot.the problem start from here,it pass thought the "Adlx" logo,come to "Motorola"logo with "blur"keep flashing,then it reflash to black screen and come back to "Moto"screen again,it doesn't boot up.Can anyone help?
