[RECOVERY] j_r0dd-mb300-v2.0 (2.7.11)
This recovery is based off of Amon_RA's source. I compiled it from source for the BackFlip/Motus. Just about all of this was from his hard work. I thank him for releasing his source and also KB7SQI for helping me compile my 1st kernel a while back. The version number is based on source/scripts.
Instructions:
1. download HERE
2. UNZIP FIRST!!! I ALREADY RENAMED IT TO recovery.img THIS TIME!
3. push or copy to sdcard
4.For screenshots & change log go hereCode:adb shell su flash_image recovery /sdcard/recovery.img
You may need to make sure there is no recovery in /system because this will over-write this on a reboot. use Root Explorer or ADB shell to remove this.
Thanks:Code:adb shell cd system su mount -o rw,remount /dev/block/mtdblock1 /system rm recovery.img mount -o ro,remount /dev/block/mtdblock1 /system exit exit
JesusFreke - for original recovery
Cyanogen - for his adding to JF's recovery
Amon_RA - for his adding to Cyanogen's recovery & his original Cliq recovery
Picolini - for the original background image I edited
KB7SQI - for helping me all along the wayLast edited by j_r0dd; 02-07-2011 at 04:22 PM.

Ok I will look into the issue. It looks like it may be an issue with busybox. Unfortunately, I am working and won't be able to fix until later tonight. sorry guys.

How close is your Memory Card to being full Josh? ( I switched back to the cliq recovery and it started to make the backup then said use the adb again, so i check my stick it was almost full, cleared up some room and seems to be working fine now, I'll let you know if anything happens, and I'll try the mb300 one in a few.
EDIT: It worked with the cliq recovery testing with the Mb300 one next.
EDIT2: Re ran the mb300 recovery and none of it works, all of it says to run using adb and I cant connect to shell with adb. Can't even use the USB-MS toggle.Last edited by crameep; 08-27-2010 at 09:30 AM.

Just tried the recovery but no luck here. I was able to flash it, reboot into recovery (via `reboot recovery` in adb), but when I got there all the options I tried failed with 'use adb'. I tried to do a cat of the log file, but the file didn't exist. While I was still in recovery I also tried the 'move recovery.log to sdcard', but that failed to (not sure if it is the same thing, but decided to give it a shot).
Oh, and should I be able to use adb while in recovery? I attempted to do the cat from there, but it couldn't connect. Figured that may be normal, but just wanted to verify.

i hope you aren't using using the +ext backup option. use copy log to sd card from the "other" section.

How exactly do I run these adb commands? I tried deleting the recovery.img and it said it is read only. Do I need to be in root terminal? I don't know how to get back to that after already rooting. Can only get to $. Tried running rageagainstthecage again but that didn't help.
